Geison Moura has re-signed with the Stars through the end of the 2012 NASL Season. Moura previously played for Minnesota in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.

A native of Sao Caetano do Sol, near Sao Paulo, Moura arrived in the United States in 2007 when he joined the New Jersey Ironmen, a now-defunct indoor team based in Newark, N.J. He also played in the Puerto Rican outdoor league during the summer. He played the 2008-09 and 2009-10 indoor seasons with the Rockford Rampage before transitioning back to outdoor soccer with the Stars upon their founding in 2010. That season for Minnesota, he scored two goals, including a memorable late equalizer at NSC Stadium against AC St. Louis. He saw less playing time in 2011 with the Stars, but made an impact in July when he assisted the winning goal as the Stars ended the Carolina RailHawks' 10-game winning streak at NSC Stadium.

Moura is still active in indoor soccer. He plays alongside Stars teammates Cristiano Dias and Lucas Rodriguez with the Major Indoor Soccer League's Missouri Comets. After recording 37 goals and 13 assists during the 2011-12 season for the Comets, Moura was named the MISL MVP.
