2013: On October 17, 2012 the Fort Lauderdale Strikers announced that Pecka had signed a new contract with the club and would be returning to play for the 2013 season.

 2012: The 2012 season was Pecka's first full season with the Strikers. Following the departure of Bryan Arguez to the Montreal Impact in the offseason, Pecka claimed to the holding midfield position. He formed a solid partnership with on-loan DC United midfielder Conor Shanosky in the center of midfield.

 Pecka scored his first goal for the club on September 8, 2012 in a 1-1 draw with the Puerto Rico Islanders.

 He finished the season with 22 starts from 27 appearances in all competitions and scored one goal.

 2011: Wellington Paeckart, better known as Pecka, was the last signing made by the Fort Lauderdale Strikers during the 2011 season, joining the club on August 22, 2011. He inherited the number 8 jersey, last worn by compatriot Lennon Celestino.

 Pecka made four starts in eight total appearances for the Strikers last season, contributing one assist.

 Youth: Pecka started his youth career in the academy of one of Brazil's most storied clubs, Flamengo. Without making a first team appearance with the club, Pecka was loaned to Centro de Futebol Zico Sociedade Esportiva.

 International: In 2006, Pecka was selected to represent the U-18 Brazilian national team at the Sendai Cup International Youth Tournament in Japan.
