Scott originally signed with FC Tampa Bay on August 30, 2011 after completing his second season with the Premier Development League’s Kitsap Pumas, who are based in Bremerton, Washington. He was named to the Premier Development League’s 2011 All-League and All-Western Conference teams and captained his club to the 2011 PDL National Championship. The 25-year old scored an injury time winner at Fresno to advance his side to the PDL national semis, giving Kitsap a 1-0 win.

Scott served as team captain for the Seattle Wolves in 2009 and was named to the All-League and All-Western Conference first teams, and he helped the Tacoma Tide finish first in the Northwest Division in 2008. Scott was a West Coast Conference second-team selection and four-year starter at Gonzaga University. He also saw action as a member of the Seattle Sounders reserve team in the summer of 2009.

Scott hails from Haiku, Maui, Hawaii and is the younger brother of Zach Scott, who plays for Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders.
