BIO: Ray Burse comes to the RailHawks after a season with league rival Puerto Rico Islanders.  In 2011, he led the Islanders to one of the best goals against average in the league in his 35 appearances.  Before playing in Puerto Rico, Burse spent several years in the MLS after being drafted by FC Dallas in the 2006 Superdraft.  Colin Clarke, RailHawks Head Coach, drafted Burse as Head Coach of FC Dallas.  Burse joined the Columbus Crew in 2011 starting two CONCACAF Champions League matches before signing with the Islanders.

Burse played collegiately at Ohio State University from 2002-2005.  His 162 career saves and 1.11 goals against average made him one of the Buckeyes best goalkeepers in program history.
