Players

Smits started between the posts at the Erin Mills Soccer Club and stayed with the program and in net from U-13 - U-18. During that time, he helped the team bring home the Ontario Cup. Smits then went to the University of Toronto where he studied for the next 4 years and played soccer for all 5 seasons. In 2009, Smits set a Canadian University record with 12 shutouts in 15 games and only 3 goals against. He also made 3 National Championship appearances with the U of T Varsity Blues.
