DeRoux is a Jamaican footballer who currently plays for San Antonio Scorpions in the North American Soccer League.

DeRoux played college soccer at Prince George's Community College, in Largo, Maryland, where he was a NSCAA Second Team All-American in 2002.

From 2005-2007, DeRoux played with D.C. United, but was not asked to return following the 2008 pre-season training camp.

DeRoux spent the 2008 season with Minnesota Thunder in the USL First Division, moving to Montreal Impact in 2009. He was also selected to the All-League Second Team of the Year.

In 2009 DeRoux helped win his first USL Championship. On 6 October 2009 deRoux received the Newcomer of the Year Award during the team’s 2009 awards banquet.

In 2011 it was announced that DeRoux would not be returning to the Impact and later signed with the San Antonio Scorpions.
