Jeff Attinella, originally from Clearwater, most recently played for the University of South Florida from 2007-2010. While with the Bulls, Attinella played in 61 matches and posted a 38-14-9 career record and a 0.79 goals against average. In 2009, he was selected as the BIG EAST Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, was named to the All-BIG East Conference First Team and 2009 NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men’s Division I All-American First Team and was also selected to the 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men’s Division I All-Northeast Region First Team.
Attinella was also a high school standout at Countryside High School, where he led his team to a state championship in 2005 and captained his team to a No. 1 national ranking in 2006. He helped lead the Clearwater Chargers to the 2006 Florida State Cup Championship. He received numerous honors, including three all-county selections, four all-conference distinctions and an all-state team honor, as well as Most Valuable Player in 2006.

Saved three crucial penalty kicks in the second leg of the NASL Championship Series (10.27)... Regular season and post season minutes played (2,910)... Blanked FC Edmonton in 2012 home opener with eight saves (4/14)... Eight saves in 1-0 victory at FC Edmonton (7/15)… NASL Defensive Player of the Week following a 3-1 victory over Ft. Lauderdale (4.28)... Posted shutout in home opener vs. FC Edmonton (4.14)... NASL Defensive Player of the Week following a 2-0 victory over Minnesota (6.30) in which he posted his eighth career shutout... Ninth career shutout with eight saves at FC Edmonton (7.15)... Second straight shuout in 2-0 win over Puerto Rico (7.21)... Third consecutive shutout in 1-0 victory over FC Edmonton (7.28).
2011 Season
Led the NASL in saves with 128... Five shutouts in 2011… Played in 23 games with 22 starts... Twice named NASL Defender of the Week - after posting first career shutout vs. Montreal (5/21) and following fourth career shutout at Fort Lauderdale (8/27)… Made his first professional start vs. Carolina (5/7), playing the entire match and making five saves.. Made his professional debut vs. Atlanta (4/30), playing 80 minutes and making three saves... Fifth shutout of the year in season finale, 2-0 win vs. Ft. Lauderdale (9/24).
