Born in the UK - Nurse got his first chance at the professional soccer lifestyle in 2002 while he played for Kingstonian. At the age of 24, he moved to Tamworth - a team from the West Midlands before making the jump across the pond to America. The first team he played for in the US was the Rochester Rhinos in 2010, then making the step to the NASL in 2010 with the Puerto Rico Islanders and after playing with the Carolina Railhawks for a half season loan in 2011/12, he returned to the Islanders for 2012. Nurse has earned over 25 national team caps with Guyana - being with the team since 2008.
