Paulo Jr., Real Salt Lake (MLS)
Paulo Jr. briefly returned to the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on a short-term loan from Real Salt Lake in mid-July, picking up a goal and an assist in three matches. For Salt Lake, he has featured in nineteen games this season, making 11 starts and contributing a goal and two assists.
Etienne Barbara, Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS)
2011 NASL Golden Ball Winner returned from injury to make his first start for Vancouver on Wednesday May 9th in the Amway Canadian Championship semi-final versus FC Edmonton. Barbara drew a penalty in the 3-1 Whitecaps win. Barbara has made just two MLS appearances.
Hassoun Camara, Montreal Impact (MLS)
2011 NASL Best XI selection has become a regular in the starting 11 for the Impact since July. Camara has featured 16 times for Montreal, starting 15, and has recorded a goal and two assists. Camara picked up his second assist of the season in Montreal’s last match, a 3-1 loss to Chivas this past Saturday.
Jun Marques Davidson, Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS)
Former Carolina RailHawks midfielder followed Martin Rennie to the Whitecaps for a second spell in North America, having returned to Japan for the 2011 season. Davidson has been a staple for the Whitecaps this season, making 24 appearances, all of them from the start.
Logan Emory, Toronto FC (MLS)
Former Puerto Rico Islanders defender has been a regular at the back for Toronto FC in 2012. In total, he has made 19 appearances in the league, 16 of them stars, and won the Canadian Championship in his first season with Toronto.
Bill Gaudette, New York Red Bulls (MLS)
Former Puerto Rico Islanders and Montreal Impact goalkeeper has started three consecutive games for the LA Galaxy this season before moving to the New York Red Bulls in July. Gaudette is the first choice goalkeeper in New York, ahead of USMNT goalkeeper Luis Robles and highly-rated rookie Ryan Meara. He has played ten games for the Red Bulls since his arrival.
Marcus Haber, Stevenage (ENG)
Former Vancouver Whitecaps striker has made five appearances for League One side Stevenage. On September 9, Haber scored his first goal in English footballer, the game-winner in a 2-1 victory against Coventry City. Stevenage currently occupy third place after six matches.
Omar Jarun, R. Charleroi S.C. (BEL)
The former Tampa Bay defender signed for Belgian Second Division Champions Charleroi on July 26. Jarun has made two appearances for the Belgian Pro League newboys, who are 14th in the table.
Brad Knighton, Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS)
2011 NASL Best XI selection with Carolina has made five MLS appearances and two in the Amway Canadian Championship for the Whitecaps this season. Having been backup to Joe Cannon for much of the season, Knighton has started the last two of Vancouver’s matches, both losses.
Chris Klute, Colorado Rapids (MLS)
Atlanta Silverbacks' defender Chris Klute signed with Major League Soccer's Colorado Rapids on a year-long loan this past Friday, September 14. It has been a meteoric rise for the first-year professional, who was playing with the Silverbacks Reserves until June.
Pascal Millien, Sligo Rovers (IRE)
The former Tampa Bay midfielder made his full league debut for the Sligo Rovers of Ireland’s Premier League on April 20th. Millien has featured fourteen times in 2012, scoring two goals for the league leaders.
Daniel Paladini, Chicago Fire (MLS)
Former Carolina midfielder is a regular on the team sheet for the Fire, but has played just seven times this season, making one start and providing two goals and one assist.
Caleb Patterson-Sewell, Vitória F.C. (POR)
Former Miami FC and Carolina RailHawks goalkeeper has made two appearances for Vitória F.C. of the Primiera Liga, the top flight in Portugal. Patterson-Sewell made his debut in a 2-2 draw with Nacional, and conceded five in a 5-0 defeat to powerhouse Benfica in his next appearance.
Brad Rusin, HB Køge (DEN)
Rusin, the former Carolina RailHawks captain, has made six starts for the Danish 1st Division side, the second tier of football in Denmark. The team in in last place after nine games played, and may be in danger of back-to-back relegation.
Tyler Ruthven, New York Red Bulls (MLS)
The former Silverbacks’ defender has made five MLS appearances for the Red Bulls this season. Ruthven hasn’t featured for New York since May.
Jonny Steele, Real Salt Lake (MLS)
The former second division MVP (in 2009) who tied for the NASL lead in assists last season while playing for the Carolina RailHawks has been a regular for Real Salt Lake since making the jump to MLS. Steele has played in 24 games for RSL scoring twice and assisting a further two.
Matt Watson, Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS)
A 2011 NASL Best XI selection while with the Carolina RailHawks, Watson has featured 11 times for the Whitecaps in MLS action this season.
Daniel Woolard, DC United (MLS)
Former Carolina RailHawks defender has been a staple at the back for DC United, starting 20 games this season, scoring one goal, and setting up two others.
