2012 Season Recap: Interview with Perry Van Der Beck

The Tampa Bay Rowdies were crowned champions of the 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl on Saturday, October 27 at Al Lang Stadium, capping off an incredible season.  Throughout the offseason, we will bring you interviews with some of the players and coaches from the 2012 squad as they look back on the championship season.

In our seventh edition of the 2012 Season Recap, we sat down to talk to Technical Director Perry Van Der Beck about how the team evolved as a whole throughout the season. The Rowdies legend enjoyed a successful playing career and he has remained actively involved in the soccer community as a player, coach and mentor in the Tampa Bay area. Since the return of the Rowdies in 2010, Van Der Beck has been committed to making this organization grow, serving as the  Executive Vice President, Technical Director and Director of Player Development.
