The Tampa Bay Rowdies were honored by the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday for the club's 2012 North American Soccer League “Soccer Bowl “Championship and their continued support of the growth of soccer in Pasco County.

The BCC meeting was held at the West Pasco Government Center. BCC Clerk Paula O’Neil read and presented Owner, President & General Manager Andrew Nestor and Owner David Laxer with a Resolution supported by BCC Commissioner Henry Wilson of District 4 to honor the Tampa Bay Rowdies for their 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl Championship.

Rowdies President & General Manager Andrew Nestor then spoke and thanked the Commissioners and West Pasco FC for their continued support of the Tampa Bay Rowdies through the years.

This was the third time that the Rowdies have been honored for their 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl Championship. Previously the club received a proclamation from the City of St. Petersburg, declaring November 8, 2012 as Tampa Bay Rowdies Day. On December 5, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners honored the Rowdies with a commendation for the club’s success in the 2012 season.
