The Carolina RailHawks (1W-1D-1L, four points) travel to Indianapolis for their fourth game of the Spring Season to take on Indy Eleven (1W-2D-0L, five points) on Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on ESPN3.
“We are coming off a disappointing result at home, so this will definitely be an important game for us to rebound back,” RailHawks head coach Colin Clarke said. “The team knows it’s important to stay calm and continue to work hard to achieve the results we are looking for.”
The RailHawks suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday to the Atlanta Silverbacks at WakeMed Soccer Park. Despite a RailHawks comeback attempt highlighted by Blake Wagner’s late goal, Atlanta’s pair of second-half tallies proved to be enough for a win, 2-1.
Indy Eleven are fresh off its first victory of the season with a 2-1 scoreline over the San Antonio Scorpions. They opened the season with consecutive 1-1 draws with the Silverbacks and the New York Cosmos, respectively.
The RailHawks currently sit in 4th place in the NASL standings, one point behind Indy Eleven.
The Carolina RailHawks return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, May 2, when they take on rival Tampa Bay Rowdies.
