The Carolina RailHawks will be on the road Saturday taking on Jacksonville Armada FC at Community First Park on Saturday, May 30, at 7:30 PM ET.
“We need to get back to business in the league,” RailHawks head coach Colin Clarke said. “I’ve watched Jacksonville play quite a bit this year, and they play very good soccer. Another positive result moves us further up the standings and gets us in a good position coming to the end of the Spring Season.”
The RailHawks (2W-4D-2L, 10 points) currently sit in fifth place in the NASL standings with 10 points and could potentially move to second place with a victory. Jacksonville is one spot ahead of the RailHawks in fourth place.
The RailHawks lost a hard-fought match, 1-0, to the Charlotte Independence in the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday night at Wake-Med Soccer Park. In their prior NASL matchup on Saturday, May 23, the squad was able to secure Colin Clarke’s 50th career win in the NASL Modern Era in a road victory against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
Jacksonville Armada FC (3-1-3, 10) is coming off a 3-0 loss to the Richmond Kickers in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup. Armada FC lost their most recent NASL matchup to Minnesota United FC, 3-2, and will be looking for a win.
