The San Antonio Scorpions grabbed a lead over Indy Eleven in the less than 20 minutes, doing so with a swift and well-executed counterattack. With Indy having numbers forward, a Scorpions clearance fell to Omar Cummings, who laid the ball off to Marvin Chávez. The Honduran's incisive pass picked out the run of Giuseppe Gentile, who fired to the far post for his first goal for the Scorpions.
The goal, which helped San Antonio to a 2-1 win, took home Play of the Week honors.
