Ottawa Fury FC today announced the signings of Jamaican speedster Dennis Chin, versatile American defender/midfielder Lance Rozeboom, and Brazilian defender Fernando Timbo on Friday.

"Dennis is a player I've admired for some time. He is the perfect player profile for the high-energy playing style we want to introduce next season," head coach Paul Dalglish said. "He is a true central striker and I am fully confident he will score goals for us."

Chin, 28, became a prolific goalscorer during his four-year tenure with Orlando City SC. The native of Kingston, Jamaica, scored 29 goals for the Lions and was the USL's leading scorer in 2012 which also earned him a spot on the All-League First Team. The 6-foot-3 forward led Orlando City SC to two USL PRO Championships (2011, 2013), three Regular Season titles (2011-12, 2014) and the best record through 100 matches for a U.S. professional soccer team. Prior to kicking off his professional career in Orlando, Chin featured at Rollins College during which time he also played with the Central Florida Kraze in the USL's Premier Development League (PDL).

"I'm excited to be joining Ottawa Fury FC and being part of this project to bring a championship to the city and its incredible fans," Chin said. "I look forward to working with Paul, his experienced coaching staff, the front office, and my new teammates as we work towards building upon the successes of last season."

Rozeboom, 26, was the Austin Aztex captain in their inaugural 2015 season where he helped establish the expansion franchise on and off the field. The native of Walker, Iowa, has featured as both a central defender and holding midfielder and boasts over 80 games and more than 5,800 minutes in the USL split between the Aztex and Rochester Rhinos. Rozeboom was the only player with the Aztex to start all 28 games last season and played all but 25 minutes for Dalglish. He was also voted Players MVP last season with Austin.

"Lance was the first player I tried to sign when I got the job," Dalglish said. "He is the perfect player profile for the attacking style we want to implement. A big powerful, energetic defensive midfielder who is very efficient in possession. A class act on and off the pitch."

Following all-star seasons at the University of New Mexico and three standout seasons with the Des Moines Menace in the PDL, Rozeboom was named to Top Drawer Soccer's Top 100 list (No. 37) and would be drafted by DC United in 2012.

"My family and I are excited to join the Ottawa Fury family," Rozeboom said. "I am grateful for the organization for giving me this opportunity and am ecstatic to have the opportunity to work with Coach Dalglish again. I feel blessed to be coming to a club with such high standards, high expectations, and a fan base who is very committed to their team. I will give everything I have to the organization, the fans, and the city we will call home."

Timbo, 23, played a vital role in the Aztex back line in 2015. The left-footed defender has spent a majority of his professional career in his native Brazil with Coritiba FC, where he began his pro career at the age of 16. The 6-foot-1 defender brings versatility to Fury FC boasting the ability to play in central defense or at left back.

"Fernando is a classy defender," Dalglish said. "It took him a little time to adapt to the game in North America, but once he did he established himself as one of the best defenders outside of MLS. His technical qualities will allow us to control possession in games and allow us to build from the back."

Timbo said: "I have great admiration for Paul and I look forward to working with him again. I've heard tremendous things about the club and the city from Paul, and I'm excited to join the club and help build on the successes that have already been achieved."
