Rayo OKC has signed Robbie Findley to a contract for the 2016 season, the club announced Wednesday. Findley saw action in the 2010 World Cup with the U.S. men’s national team.
“I’m excited to be here in Oklahoma City representing Rayo OKC,” Findley said. “The team is full of great talent and experience. We are committed to do whatever it takes to be successful on and off the field.”
The Phoenix, Ariz., native played seven seasons in MLS and two seasons in the English Premier League.
Findley, 30, has played for three MLS teams in his career, including one season with Toronto FC in 2015 and six years with Real Salt Lake.
The U.S. national team veteran played two seasons in the English Championship with Nottingham Forest in 2011 and 2012.
Findley is the fourth player to join Rayo OKC’s roster who have made World Cup rosters and the sixth player added that has represented their countries at the international level.
