Justin Braun’s second-half goal erased Jacksonville’s one-goal lead as Indy Eleven remained the only unbeaten team in the Spring Season, taking a point on the road at Community First Park on Saturday night.

Indy (3W-5D-0L, 14 points) had the best chance of the first 20 minutes. Don Smart swung a long cross from the right that Eamon Zayed headed on goal, forcing Sebastian Evers - who was making his professional debut - to make the save.

The Armada FC (1-2-5, 4) came close in the 26th minute when Danny Barrow headed down a ball into the path Keith for a short that forced a save by Jon Busch. Two minutes later Junior Sandoval’s free kick was deflected off the crossbar.

Jacksonville finally broke a more than 400-minute goal-scoring drought when defender Matt Bahner hit an errant clearance first-time and blasted a left-footed shot past Busch inside the near post from 25 yards out.

Indy tied the game in the 73rd minute when Jair Reynoso’s cross was met by Justin Braun, who went high to head the ball past Miguel Gallardo, who replaced the injured Evers in the 57th minute.
