Indy Eleven once again scored a late goal and once again stayed unbeaten with a 1-0 win over Minnesota United in Week 2 of the Fall Season. Dylan Mares provided the heroics for the Boys in Blue in the victory over Minnesota, scoring the game-winner and clearing a ball off the line in the dying moments. Now, in a midweek clash against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Indy (1W-1D-1L, 4 points) aims to tie the league’s record unbeaten mark of 13.

Fort Lauderdale has been in good form, except for when it comes to playing FC Edmonton. The Strikers have lost twice in eight games, both coming on the road against the Eddies. Fort Lauderdale, though, can take positives from its previous meeting with the Spring Season Champions, controlling the majority of the 90 minutes and peppering the Indy goal with shots throughout the game. The only thing standing between the Strikers (0-1-1, 1) and three points that night was a stunning performance by Indy goalkeeper Jon Busch.

Chris Wittyngham and Thomas Rongen will have the call as the Eleven take on the Strikers.
