The Carolina RailHawks capped off a fantastic week with a 1-0 win over the Fort Lauderdale Strikers last Saturday, holding off the hosts after Brian Shriver scored his team-leading fourth goal early in the game. The club’s recent marquee signing, Mexican international Omar Bravo, is set to make his debut against Miami FC. Carolina (2W-0D-1L, 6 points) has won back-to-back games, rounding into the form that saw the club win its first four league games in 2016.
Miami FC picked up its first win of the Fall Season last weekend when Jaime Chávez scored in stoppage time to down Jacksonville Armada FC. The club now turns its attention to picking up its first win on the road. Miami (1-1-1, 4) will be confident heading into WakeMed Soccer Park on Friday night, with its new-look midfield showing promising signs in recent games. Miami and Carolina played to a 0-0 draw in their first meeting of the year.
