Indy Eleven kept its unbeaten home record intact, extending it to 14 games dating back to last year, in a 1-1 draw against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Carroll Stadium on Saturday night.
Tampa Bay (3W-3D-6L, 12 points) took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute when Joe Cole’s free kick found Justin Chavez at the Indy (6-3-4, 21) far post. His volley beat Jon Busch low to the far post. The Eleven got even in the 34th minute when Omar Gordon scored his first goal since late May, smashing home a bouncing ball.
