The match between Jacksonville Armada FC and Indy Eleven that was scheduled to be played on Saturday has been moved to Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET because of weather concerns related to Hurricane Matthew, the NASL announced Thursday.
The league office, in conjunction with the two clubs, will continue to closely monitor weather conditions as the storm progresses in the coming days.
“The most important thing right now is focusing on everyone’s safety,” Armada FC owner and NASL Chairman Mark Frisch said. “We look forward to returning to play next Wednesday, but are continuing to monitor the weather conditions and the situation surrounding the storm.
