Rayo OKC won its fifth straight game and extended its unbeaten run to 10 games with a 2-1 victory over Indy Eleven at Miller Stadium on Sunday night in the final game of the NASL Fall Season as the two teams prepared for postseason play next weekend.

Both sides rested a number of front-line players ahead of next week’s semifinals in The Championship -- Indy (11W-4D-7L, 37 points Fall; 15-10-7, 55 Combined) home to FC Edmonton and Rayo OKC (9-8-5, 35 Fall; 12-11-9, 47 Combined) at New York -- on Saturday.

Indy took a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute when Nicki Paterson converted a penalty kick created when Omar Gordon’s shot was handled in the penalty area. Sebastian Velazquez knotted the score eight minutes later, cutting inside from the right and blasting a left-footed shot into the upper 90 past goalkeeper Keith Cardona.

Rayo OKC took the lead on a header by Moises Hernandez with an assist to Devon Sandoval, his second of the game, in the 85th minute.
