In Week 9, all three road clubs found victories and were rewarded for their efforts. Players from Jacksonville Armada FC, Miami FC, and North Carolina FC were heavily represented on the latest Team of the Week. All three clubs also now sit one, two, and three in the Spring Season Standings.

GK: Caleb Patterson-Sewell (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The veteran goalkeeper made three saves on the way to a clean sheet in a resounding 3-0 win over the San Francisco Deltas.
DEF: Drew Beckie (Jacksonville Armada FC) – He picked up an assist on the game’s opening goal with a fantastic cross and then helped Jacksonville earn a shutout. He won five duels and made three clearances in the contest.
DEF: Connor Tobin (North Carolina FC) – The center back had a strong game, winning all three of his tackles and four duels. He also racked up five clearances and two interceptions in the comeback 2-1 win over Puerto Rico FC.
DEF: Rhett Bernstein (Miami FC) – He helped Miami FC earn a clean sheet to snap Indy Eleven’s record home unbeaten streak in the 2-0 win. The defender made nine clearances and seven interceptions. Bernstein also helped maintain possession, completing 51 of his 58 passes.
DEF: Robert Baggio Kcira (Miami FC) – The defender once again shined, picking up an assist on the game’s first goal. He also won all five of his tackles and five duels. Kcira also made three clearances and two interceptions in the contest.
MID: Zach Steinberger (Jacksonville Armada FC) – The midfielder scored twice on headers and then added an assist later in the victory over the Deltas. Steinberger also earned Player of the Week honors for his performance.
MID: Michael Lahoud (Miami FC) – He played a nice chipped pass to Kwadwo Poku, which ultimately resulted in an assist for the second goal. He also made seven clearances and six interceptions while battling in the midfield.
MID: Jordi Quintillà (Puerto Rico FC) – Despite Puerto Rico’s loss, the Barcelona Academy product played well. The midfielder won all four of his tackles, won six duels, and made three clearances. He was also tidy on the ball, completing 28 of his 33 passes and adding an assist on three created chances.
FWD: Matt Fondy (North Carolina FC) – He showed his attacking abilities in the win over Puerto Rico. Fondy scored the equalizer and then turned provider to set up Billy Schuler for the game-winning tally.
FWD: Kwadwo Poku (Miami FC) – The Ghanaian international sealed Miami’s win with the second goal of the game. He also created a pair of chances at Carroll Stadium.
FWD: Billy Schuler (North Carolina FC) – The forward continues to make an impact off the bench and scored the game-winner with a volley from close range after connecting with Matt Fondy’s cross.
